PC14818In accordance with General Act No. 217, Special Session 1967, Notice is hereby given that the County Commission for Russell County, Alabama will receive competitive bids for Commission Chambers Carpet Installation at 1000 Broad St. (Russell County Courthouse).All work under this contract shall meet the applicable material, construction and quality requirement(s) and local building code(s) standards. Each bidder shall indicate on the bid sheet the minimum dollar amount that is required for project total. The successful bidder will furnish all materials, transportation, labor, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The successful bidder will possess all proper County, City and State licenses (if applicable) and shall be familiar with and comply with state and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. Proof of liability insurance and workman's compensation insurance shall be submitted before any work is started. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless Russell County, the Russell County Commission and its officers and employees from all suits, actions, claims of any type brought because of any injury or damages received or sustained by any person(s), or property on account of the contractor. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on May 12,2026 at10:00am at 1000 Broad Street.Bids will be accepted until Friday, May 22, 2026, no later than 10:00 a.m. EST. Please mark on the outside of the envelope "SEALED BID" (Courthouse Carpet) and date. Bids will be opened on May 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers located at 1000 Broad Street, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. It is the intention of the Russell County Commission to make a single award to the lowest responsible/responsive bidder(s) meeting specifications/terms. However, the Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
