Notice of Request for Proposal Notice is hereby given that, on behalf for eleven (11) member district in the High Desert Cooperative Purchasing Group, which consists of Adelanto Elementary School District, Apple Valley Unified School District, Barstow Unified School District, Bear Valley Unified School District, Helendale School District, Lucerne Valley Unified School District, Oro Grande School District, Rim of the World Unified School District, Silver Valley Unified School District, Snowline Joint Unified School District, and Victor Valley Union High School District. Adelanto Elementary School District (District), Adelanto, CA (San Bernardino County), will receive sealed proposals for Request for Proposal Number # 25/26-ADE-10 for the procurement of the following: Produce Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Purchasing Department, Adelanto Elementary School District, 11824 Air Expressway, Adelanto, CA. 92301 no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, May 8, 2026, according to the Purchasing Department dedicated time clock for that purpose. Proposals shall be evaluated before 05/15/2026 by all membered districts listed in this RFP. For the bid to be considered valid you are required to have all of the following information noted on the envelope as directed; bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder’s name & address, bid number and name of bid listed. If not presented in person, the above envelope with all the above information must be sent in a separate envelope, sealed, within. No bid will be accepted after the noted day and time and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The District is not responsible for proposals sent via U.S. Mail, UPS, Federal Express or by any other delivery service. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure that their proposal is delivered to the Purchasing Department. Each Proposal must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. No proposal may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days. The eleven (11) Districts within the High Desert Cooperative Purchasing Group collectively, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any discrepancy or technicality, and to award the contract for goods and services. The award of contract will be to the qualified firm whose best complies with all the requirements set forth in the proposal documents and whose proposal, in the opinion of the eleven Districts while complying with all legal requirements, is in the best interest of the member districts in the purchasing group, taking into consideration all aspects of the contractor’s response, including total net cost.
