Public Notice Construction of a Metal Operations Building For Reclamation District 108 Colusa County, California Sealed bids are to be received at the office of Reclamation District 108, California until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read to perform the work as follows: Contractor to complete design and permitting, and construct a metal Operations Building at 975 Wilson Bend Road, Grimes, CA in accordance with the Bid Documents, A mandatory site visit and walkthrough will be held at 1 PM, on Monday May 18, 2026, 975 Wilson Bend Road, Grimes, CA. Attendance is a prerequisite to bid submission. No bid will be accepted unless it is made on the Bid Forms furnished by the District's Engineer. Email or Fax bids will not be considered or accepted and will be grounds for rejection. The Bid Forms submitted shall contain all the information requested therein, signed, dated and affidavit notarized. Electronic PDF Bidding Documents may be obtained by emailing Chad Navorrot at cnavarrot@rd108.org In accordance with the provisions of the State of California Labor Code �1770 et seq., the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the Work to be done. Bidders shall be registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code �1725.5 to be qualified to bid on or engage in the performance of work under this Contract. These requirements extend to all Subcontractors to be listed on a bid proposal or engage in the performance of work under this Contract. Reclamation District No. 108, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The award, if made, will be to the lowest single responsive and responsible Bidder. Bids submitted to the District by Contractor shall process a valid business license in accordance with the laws of this state, county and/or the city. Prospective Bidders shall be skilled, and regularly engaged in the construction of metal buildings.
