The County of Contra Costa ("County"), through its Capital Projects Management Division of the Public Works Department, hereby gives notice it is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to deliver design-build services for the Upgrade Nurse Call System at CCRMC project at 2500 Alhambra Avenue and that the County has determined that all Design-Build Entities ("Design-Builder") must be prequalified. The Capital Projects Management Division, Public Works Department, is requesting Statements of Qualifications ("SOQs") from interested Design-Builders for the Project. SOQs are due at the Public Works Department/Capital Projects Management Division office, in writing via email only to Margaret Thorp, Senior Project Manager, Margaret.thorp@pw.cccounty.us and Jeremy Bordi, Kitchell Senior Project Manager, jbordi@kitchell.com, no later than 2:00 p.m. (PST), April 17, 2026. PROJECT SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is a full-service county hospital (OSHPD 1) offering a complete array of patient-centered health care services. The building is 6-story, approximately 200,000 square feet, 164-bed hospital. The existing nurse call system was designed in 1997 and is reaching the end of its life expectancy.
