NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) of Los Angeles County, California, acting through its Governing Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as "District", is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that will allow the District to pre-qualify a limited number of professional consultants for California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Consulting Services – RFQ/P No. 21(25-26)FP to provide consulting services for various projects funded therein by Measures P, PS, and UU bond funds, as well as other District projects and funding sources . Pomona Unified School District (District) is requesting the submission of Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Consulting Services from firms interested in providing work associated with various projects funded therein by Measures P, PS, and UU bond funds, as well as other District projects such as: reconstruction/modernization, alterations, new educational buildings, and other special projects. The District is a public school district located in Pomona, California. The District has a student population of approximately 20,000 students, serving the communities of Pomona and portions of La Verne, Claremont, and San Dimas in Los Angeles County, California. Proposal packets shall be sealed and delivered to: POMONA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTEducation Center, Front Desk800 South Garey AvenuePomona, California 91766All proposal packets shall be sealed in a package plainly marked “California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Consulting Services - RFQ/P No. 21(25-26)FP .” Proposals must be submitted no later than 10:00 A.M. PST on Friday, May 22, 2026 , at the Pomona Unified School District, Front Desk, 800 S. Garey Ave., Pomona, California 91766. (The District will accept and not consider the sealed packets late as long as they are checked in and affixed with a district-generated label confirming receipt at the Front Desk of the Education Center by 10:00 A.M. The District will consider the sealed packets late if they are not checked in and affixed with a district-generated label confirming receipt by 10:01 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 2026. It is the highly recommended that Bidders confirm the time with the Receptionists upon arrival to the Education Center lobby.) Questions regarding this RFQ/P must be submitted using the link in the RFQ/P packet, no later than 12:00 P.M. PST on Monday, May 11, 2026 . All communication pertaining to the proposal will only be through the Purchasing Department, Director Eduardo Govea. No person other than the aforementioned is authorized to receive questions relating to this RFQ/P, and the District shall have no obligation to respond to questions sent to any other person or entity. In its discretion, the District may disregard the Response of any Firm that, in connection with this RFQ/P, contacts any other District representative including, without limitation, any member of the District’s Board, Assistant Superintendents, Directors, Administrators, Consultants, Managers or any other District personnel. All Responses and other materials submitted in regards to this RFQ/P shall become the property of the District. The Board of Education of the Pomona Unified School District reserves the right to be sole judge as to the merit, quality, and acceptability of services proposed and their compliance to the specifications which, in the Board's opinion, will best serve the interest(s) of the District. Further, the Board reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to negotiate with any or all responsible submitters, and to waive any irregularity in the Statement of Qualifications. Proposing firms are hereby made aware that the District will not reimburse any costs for the preparation or submission of the proposal to any proposing firm for any reason.
