City of Antioch Marina Bathroom Repair Bid No. 968-0507-26A DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Work to be Performed: The City of Antioch is soliciting qualified contractor(s) to provide repair and restoration services for the Marina Public Restroom facility, which sustained damage due to a vehicle impact. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and coordination necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Scope of Work and all applicable specifications. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Antioch, California, has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid to the various craftsmen and laborers required to construct said improvements, a copy of which may be viewed at www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD. Award of the contract, if it is to be awarded, will be determined, and evaluating by the most responsive and responsible proposal, the prices will not necessarily be controlling, but quality, equality, efficiency, utility, general terms, delivery, suitability of the service offered, and the reputation of the service in general use will also be considered with any other relevant factors whose proposal complies with all the requirements described. Such award, if made, will be made at a meeting of the Antioch City Council within 90 days after the opening of the proposal. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announcement for the opening, on or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding one hundred ten days.
