NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Arcadia Unified School District of Los Angeles County, California, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as the District, will receive up to, but not later than2:00 P.M., April 16, 2026 , bids for: PAINTING SERVICES AT HUGO REID PRIMARY, CAMINO GROVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND ARCADIA HIGH SCHOOL GYM, as per specifications contained in Bid No. 210:25-26
Bids shall be received at the Purchasing Office of the Arcadia Unified School District, 150 S. Third Avenue, Arcadia, CA 91006 and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. Each bid must be sealed and marked PAINTING SERVICES AT HUGO REID PRIMARY, CAMINO GROVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND ARCADIA HIGH SCHOOL GYM Bid No. 210:25-26
The General contractor is required to assure that all subcontractors meet all requirements and certifications of the specifications at the time of bid.
All bids shall be made on bid forms furnished by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to contract documents. Copies of all Bid and Contract docs will be available at AUSD.Net. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities on any bid or bidding.
MANDATORY JOB WALK AND PRE-BID CONFERENCE : Will be held on April 8, 2026 at 9:00 am. The Job Walk will be at Hugo Reid Primary located at 1153 De Anza Pl., Arcadia CA 91007. All attendees shall meet in front of the school. Attendance is mandatory and attendees must sign in and sign out.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the general prevailing rate per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract based on a working day of eight (8)hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at time and one half. Certified Payroll will be required for this project. This job requires a C-33 Contractor’s License
Per SB 854 Public Works Contractor Registration Program, as of March 1, 2015 contractors must be registered with DIR in order to bid on public works projects
In Accordance with EC 17076.11, the District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE for requirements.No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening bids.
