NOTICE INVITING BIDS CITY OF BELVEDERE, CA BEACH ROAD STABILIZATION PROJECT Sealed Proposals will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Belvedere at City Hall, 450 San Rafael Avenue, Belvedere, California 94920 until 11:30 AM, 19th day of March 2026. City will accept proposals via email (aboyd@cityofbelvedere.org) if received by 11:00am March 19, 2026. Proposals will be printed and read aloud with others. BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Work primarily consists of sheet pile installations to stabilize a portion of the existing concrete seawall. Steel sheet piles will be installed on the bayside of the existing sea wall along with placement of concrete backfill and structural connections between the sheet piles and seawall. A section of steel sheet piling will also be installed in the Beach Road roadway in front of the 30-38 Beach Road building with reinforced concrete beams connecting the new sheet piles to the back (roadside) of the existing concrete sea wall. A portion of the Beach Rd sidewalk and asphalt will be demolished and restored in-kind. The Work includes traffic control and utility line disconnections, providing temporary utility service to the 30-38 Beach Road building, and permanent utility line restoration. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $3,000,000 - $4,000,000. The City has allowed 65 working days for the completion of all work. All work within the jurisdictional bay areas must be completed between June 1 and October 31, 2026.
