NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Benicia Unified School District "the District", located at 350 East K Street, Benicia, CA 94510, invites qualified vendors to submit sealed bids for the award of a contract or contracts for providing special education transportation services. Vendors may propose a variety of transportation models, including vans, or other suitable vehicles, to meet the needs of students with disabilities as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Each bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form and conform to the terms, conditions, and requirements specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and all other documents comprising the Contract Documents. Respondents to this request for bids should mail or deliver three (3) sealed copies of their submittals on or before 3:00 pm on March 12, 2026, as further described herein, to: Abigail Hilliard, Business Services Manager Benicia Unified School District 350 E K Street Benicia, CA 94510 ahilliard@beniciaunified.org The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder(s) meeting the criteria set forth in the bid documents, as determined by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding, and to award the bid to multiple firms on a non-exclusive basis. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
