NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BRENTWOOD UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT The Brentwood Union School District of Contra Costa County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the "District", is soliciting a Request for Proposal No FS 2026-1 for distribution of commercial food products beginning July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027. With mutual agreement, the contract may be extended for two additional 12 month periods or until the end of the school fiscal year. Services must be fully compliant with all applicable local, state and federal laws. Each bidder must complete all documents and pricing worksheet to be considered. Pricing worksheet must be provided in hard copy and on a thumb drive in original excel form. All forms and contract documents can be obtained at https://www.brentwood.k12.ca.us/page/purchasing or by emailing Kristin Nisen, Food Service Coordinator at knisen@brentwood.k12.ca.us. All inquiries concerning this bid shall be directed in writing via email to Kristin Nisen. Sealed bids must be delivered no later than 9:00 AM, on Friday May 1st 2026. Bids must be submitted to Kristin Nisen in a sealed envelope, marked with bid number and title. Deliver in person or by mail to Kristin Nisen, Food Service Department, Brentwood Union School District, 255 Guthrie Lane, Brentwood CA 94513. Each Request for Proposal will be evaluated independently. All bids will be opened publicly. Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to provide the goods called for in the Contract Documents. Each bid must strictly conform with and be responsive to the Contract Documents as defined in FS 2026-1 documents and worksheets. It is each bidder's sole responsibility to ensure its bid is timely delivered and received at the location designated as specified above.
