PUBLIC NOTICE:
DENAIR COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT – NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT
Sealed bids will be received by Denair Community Services District ("District") at the district office located at 3850 N. Gratton Road, PO Box 217, Denair, California 95316 until 2:00 p.m. local time on April 8, 2026, or such later date as may be set by addendum for the construction of the following Public Works Project: "Construction Services to Construct Well Site 8 to Water Tank 2 Water Line Project The proposed work consists of the construction of "Well Site 8 to Water Tank 2 Water Line Project" as detailed in the Request for Proposal for the "Denair 2026, RFP: 2026-1 released March 2, 2026. A copy of the RFP is available upon request from the "District" Engineer, Claybar Engineering, Inc. by contacting the District Engineer, Dennis Barksdale at 916-684-7301 or by email at dcb@claybar.com. The District will hold a pre-proposal conference at the District office on March 18, 2026 at 10 AM. While attendance at the pre-proposal conference and site visit is not mandatory, interested proposers are highly encouraged to attend. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the insurance and bonding requirements as identified in the before mentioned Request For Proposal. The successful bidder must possess the following classification of contractor's license: Contractors State License Board Classification No(s). B. Bidders must comply with public Works projects, including payment of prevailing wage rates, payroll record keeping, overtime, employments of apprentices, nondiscrimination, and workers' compensation insurance. (See Labor Code sections 1720-1861) Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are available through the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research (DLSR) office, located at 455 Golden Gate Avenue, 9th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102, or by accessing the DLSR web site using the following URL; http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlsr/pwd.
