NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS CALLING FOR BIDSCORONA-NORCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTBID NO. 2025-26-305 ELEANOR ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL WELDING SHOP In accordance with Public Contract Code 20111, Notice is hereby given that the Corona-Norco Unified School District, hereinafter referred to as “DISTRICT”, will receive up to, but no later than 10:00 a.m., on April 20, 2026, sealed bids for the award of a contract for Eleanor Roosevelt High School Welding Shop. A mandatory job walk will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, 7447 Scholar Way, Eastvale, CA 92880. All contractors and MEP subcontractors must be on the District’s current pre-qualified contractor list. The list of pre-qualified contractors can be found on the District’s website at Prequalification for Over $1 Million Projects - Home . No other pre-qualification applications will be accepted for this project. The full notice inviting bids, Bid documents and contract documents are available and downloadable via the District Purchasing Department website at https://www.cnusd.k12.ca.us/our_departments/business_services/purchasing/bids_rfps and Bonfire E-Procurement website at https://cnusdk12.bonfirehub.com . No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for opening of bids. During this time, all bidders shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective bids. Submission of all bids shall be made electronically via the Bonfire E-Procurement Platform, available at https://cnusdk12.bonfirehub.com/ , no later than the above bid due date and time. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids shall be electronically un-sealed and publicly read aloud at the stated date and time. Each bidder shall possess, at the time the bid is awarded, a valid Class B license pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300. The successful contractor shall maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. Small businesses and firms owned and controlled by women, minorities and persons with disabilities and/or disabled veterans are encouraged to participate in this solicitation. Bidders who do not meet the above criteria, are strongly encouraged to solicit these businesses/firms as subcontractors. The awarded contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the prevailing wage requirements set forth in Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code. Contractors or subcontractors submitting bids must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Per Senate Bill 854, all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects will be required to register, and annually renew, online, for the program. No bid can be accepted nor any contract or subcontract entered into without proof that the contractor or subcontractor is registered.
