Southern Humboldt Housing Opportunities Garberville, California Emergency Housing ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Southern Humboldt Housing Opportunities - Emergency Housing will be received at the office of DTN Engineering, until 3:00 PM local time on April 17, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the change of use for the old Garberville Grange in Garberville. The Engineer's estimate for this project will be provided on the bid opening date. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: DTN Engineering Attn: David Nicoletti, PE 2731 K St. Unit A, Eureka, CA 95501 (916) 215-7769 o dnicoletti@dtnengineering.com Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, and will be required to register with the Issuing Office by obtaining copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding documents will be available on the Southern Humboldt Housing Opportunities web site for download only: www.sohumhousing.org Bidding Documents also may be examined at the DTN Engineering located at 2731 K St., Eureka California, 95501. Pursuant to Section 1773 of the Labor Code, the general prevailing wage rates for Humboldt County have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available at the State of California Division of Labor Statistics and research web site at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/PWD/index.htm. Compliance with all prevailing wage requirements is required under this project. A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, April 2 at 10:00 am local time. Prospective bidders are to gather at the Southern Humboldt Housing Opportunities office, 620 Fir Ln., Garberville. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.
