NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of the Tamalpais Union High School District ("District") will receive sealed bids for the award of the following contract ("Contract"): Charter Transportation Services Program Bid No.110 Bid Documents are available starting on March 2, 2026, at the District Office, 395 Doherty Drive, Larkspur, CA 94939, and posted on the District's website (https://www.tamdistrict.org/). Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., March 19, 2026, at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bidders shall submit their sealed bid at the District Office, 395 Doherty Drive, Larkspur, CA 94939. Sealed bids shall be labeled: "Charter Transportation Services Program Bid No. 110. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be non-responsive, shall not be opened, and shall be returned to the bidder. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to the Instruction to Bidders and all pertinent contract documents. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Tamalpais Union High School District, in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000), which is approximately ten (10) percent of the estimated annual Contract value, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. No bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening, unless otherwise authorized in writing by the District. Pursuant to Education Code section 39875 et seq., a bidder awarded the Contract shall attest in writing by completing a certification that, for the entire duration of the Contract, the bidder will remain in compliance with all applicable laws, and the bidder's drivers will meet the requisite qualification standards. No additional compensation shall be due for compliance with Education Code section 39875 et seq. Pursuant to Education Code section 39802, the District has no obligation to accept the bid with the lowest cost offered. Award of the Contract shall be made, if the District awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, unless the District, at its sole discretion, determines that the public interest will be best served by accepting a bid other than the bid with the lowest cost. The District also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award different portions of the Contract to multiple, different bidders. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
