NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Los Banos Unified
School District, LBUSD, (hereinafter the "District") 
of Los Banos, CA, acting by and through its Governing 
Board, will receive sealed bids no later than 2:00:00 pm, 
on April 30, 2026, at the LBUSD Facilities & Support Services Office, 
646 West Pacheco Blvd., Los Banos, 95635, CA, for the following project: 
 
Scope of Work:
Portable Building Manufacturer to provide (2) stockpile portable
moment frame buildings with DSA approved PC, set on raised
wood foundation on AC paving.  Manufacturer shall transport and 
install buildings on site.  Site Electrical (Power, Fire Alarm & Data)
& Ramps & Site Work shall be by others. 
 
The work shall be performed within the following
time frame: (30 days) Complete by August 15, 2026.
 
The official bid documents will be available on April 10, 2026,

A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference and site visit will be
held on April 17, 2026, at 9:00 am, and will start at Grasslands 
Elementary School located at 1951 Mission Drive, Los Banos, CA
95635.
 
The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per 
diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed 
to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements 
for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California.
 
COMPLIANCE MONITORING:  This project is subject 
to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the 
Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor
Commissioner.  Copies of all collective bargaining 
agreements relating to the work are on file and available
for inspection in the office of the California Department
of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics 
and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco, 
CA  94102, (415-703-4780), 
In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor
may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project
unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited
exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under
Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
 
In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded
a contract for public work on a public works project unless
registered with the Department of Industrial Relations 
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
 
A valid Type B, Contractors License will be required.
 
Bids must be returned in a sealed envelope, identified
by the bid title "Los Banos Unified School District – 
Grasslands ES – (2) New LEAP Portables" and bearing 
the name and address of the proposer.
 
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids
and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.  Unless
otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its
bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
