Bids for track replacement at Orestimba High School due April 1, 2026.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids for ORESTIMBA HIGH SCHOOL TRACK REPLACEMENT ,for NEWMAN-CROWS LANDING UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT will be received in the District office of NEWMAN-CROWS LANDING UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, 1223 Main St., Newman, CA 95360 until April 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at which time they will be opened and read.  Plans and Specifications are on file and may be viewed or downloaded from the website of TPH Architects, at http://tpharchitects.com/bidding/ 
A mandatory pre-bid job walk is scheduled for March 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., at 707 Hardin Rd, Newman, CA 95360.  We will meet at the flagpole.  The pre-bid job walk must be attended by a Principal of the company proposing to submit a bid or an employee of the company who is a Construction Superintendent or a Project Manager.  The bid of any Contractor not in attendance at the pre-bid job walk will not be accepted.  If further information is needed, call Mike Clark, AIA , at (209) 571-2232.
Bids shall be submitted on forms included in the Bid Package.
Prequalification Required:   All prospective general contractors, and mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified in order to be submit or be included on a bid for this project.  The District has contracted with Quality Bidders for prequalification administration.  General contractors and prospective mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing subcontractors must submit prequalification applications through www.qualitybidders.com.  Any bids received from contractors who have not been prequalified will be returned unopened. Any bids that include prospective mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing subcontractors who have not been prequalified will be deemed non-responsive. The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California.  COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA, 94102, (415-703-4780), http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlsr/ .
In compliance with SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].  In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.  This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
A valid A or B contractor's license will be required.
NEWMAN-CROWS LANDING UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in the bidding.
