NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS Notice is hereby given that the City of San Buenaventura, California, is requesting proposals for the Seismic Retrofit of Bridges over Railroad at Victoria Ave. and Telephone Road Project which consists of the rehabilitation of the existing Victoria Avenue Bridge (Bridge No. 52C0064) and Telephone Road Overpass Bridge (Bridge No. 52C0248) crossing over the Union Pacific Railroad. The appurtenant work on this project includes professional services for environmental (CEQA and NEPA) analysis, design, utility coordination, permit procurement and the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for the proposed rehabilitation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) document contains a full description of the required services and the consultant selection process. This RFP may be obtained online from the City’s website at: https://www.cityofventura.ca.gov/Bids.aspx?BidID=384 Interested proposers are encouraged to notify Jessica Ramirez, Associate Engineer, at jeramirez@cityofventura.ca.gov of their intent to submit a proposal in order to receive notifications of addenda. Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format and received by the City via email at jeramirez@cityofventura.ca.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered. This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable federal requirements.
