CITY OF SCOTTS VALLEY, CALIFORNIA NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Scotts Valley, State of California, that sealed formal bids for work in accordance with this invitation, Project Documents and Contract Documents will be received in the office of the Public Works Department located at 361 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, CA 95066, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for performing work as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as Scotts Valley Dr. / Mt. Hermon Rd. Improvements Project. An optional pre-bid walkthrough will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Scotts Valley Public Works Department located at 361 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, CA 95066. SCOPE OF WORK: This contract consists of the reconstruction and improvement of the existing roadway corridor to transform it into a Complete Street that safely accommodates pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and public transit users of all ages and abilities. The work would include, but not limited to: Removal and replacement of failed pavement sections (dig-outs). Slurry Seal application. Striping. Install curb, and curb & gutter. Traffic Control. Temporary erosion control measures. Location: Scotts Valley Dr. / Mt. Hermon Rd., Scotts Valley, California. The significant deadlines of the procurement activities are shown below: 1. Release of Formal Bid Documents March 31, 2026 2. Pre-bid Conference/Walk April 7, 2026 at 10:00 am 3. Deadline for Submission of Bids April 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm The Contractor shall do all work incidental to legally and satisfactorily complete the work including the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, utility coordination, applicable taxes, permits, and any other necessary or required incidental work essential to accomplish the work, whether or not shown on the plans or required in these specifications.
