CITY OF SOLANA BEACH NOTICE INVITING BIDSUntil 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 , the City shall accept bids at the Office of the City Clerk, 635 South Highway 101, Solana Beach, CA 92075, at which time they will be opened by the City Clerk and read. The bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside with the following project title:Lomas Santa Fe Corridor East ImprovementsFederal-Aid Project No.: CPFCDSL-5445(008)Bid No.: 2026-03PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, supervision, labor and incidentals required to complete the above stated project. The work generally includes the pavement resurfacing and the construction of bicycle and pedestrian improvements on Lomas Santa Fe Drive, from Interstate I-5 to Highland Drive at the City’s eastern boundary. Improvements consist of the demolition, grind and overlay of roadway pavement, sidewalk paving, landscape plantings, irrigation systems, traffic signals, street light relocations, enhancement bicycle and pedestrian improvements, drainage improvements, bioretention basins, traffic control and all other work and appurtenances in accordance with the specifications and plans for Bid No. 2026-03, Federal Aid No.: CPFCDSL-5445(008), and all drawings for the Lomas Santa Fe Corridor Improvements.OBTAINING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONSPlans and Specifications and other contract documents may be secured from the Office of the City Engineer. A non-refundable fee of $25 is required for each set of documents. Mailing fee is an additional $10.Bid documents may also be downloaded from the City website https://www.cityofsolanabeach.org/en/rfps-construction-bids at no charge.It is the Contractor’s responsibility to verify all the contact information for their company (including mailing address, email address, office phone number and office fax number) is included on the electronic plan holder’s list available through the electronic bidding website linked to the City website.
