NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OFVALENCIA WATER RECLAMATION PLANTSTORMWATER MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENTSNotice is hereby given that Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District of Los Angeles County will receive electronic bids by submission to Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) no later than the hour of 2:00 p.m. (PST) on May 5, 2026, for the construction ofValencia Water Reclamation Plant Stormwater Management Improvements, located at 28185 The Old Road, Valencia, CA, 26191 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, and 26200 Springbrook Ave, Saugus, CA 91350.The Valencia Water Reclamation Plant work consists of replacing a pump, including power and controls, installing precast vaults and catch basins, modifying an electric switchgear, installing a flow meter, constructing a sampling location, and making various grading and pavement improvements across the site.The Saugus bypass gate structure work, located within the Green Landscape Nursery near the Saugus WRP, consists of installing a new bypass gate structure with a gate actuator. The project also includes replacing and relocating the existing control panel, currently located outside the nursery, to a location closer to the new structure.All bids must be fully transmitted by the date and time specified . Bids are to be prepared in accordance with the Bid Documents, Plans, Special Provisions, Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2024 Edition, complete with Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts Amendments to the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, 2024 Edition, and any addenda issued by the District (collectively, the “Bid Documents”), which are on file in the Office of the Chief Engineer of the District, 1955 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, 90601.
