ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR BLACKER DRAINAGE CANAL SLOPE REHABILITATION PROJECT Electronic copies of the Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications for the Blacker Drainage Canal Slope Rehabilitation Project are available on the Reclamation District 900 website at www.rd900.gov under the "RFB's, RFP's & RFQ's" tab within the project posting. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all available documents to ensure their bid includes all work required for the project. Blacker Drainage Canal Slope Rehabilitation Project: General construction including but not limited to construction of Terramesh Green Slope System, Terramesh Mineral Slope System, rock slope protection, culvert installation, dust control, drain pipe installation, SWPPP implementation, embankment work, structural excavation, structural backfill, aggregate base, and all related work necessary to complete the project. The project is located approximately 0.20 miles west of Jefferson Blvd (SR 84) on Linden Road in West Sacramento, Yolo County, California. The canal crosses under Linden Road. The estimated construction cost is between $2,900,000 and $3,500,000. Contractors must possess a valid California Contractor's License, Class A General Engineering. Reclamation District 900 will receive sealed bids for the project as follows: Bids are due on March 26, 2026. Bidders must drop off bids between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Bid opening will occur at 1:00 PM. Bids will be received at: Reclamation District 900 c/o MHM Incorporated 1204 E Street Marysville, CA 95901 Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents and must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. A copy of the Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be obtained from the office of the District Engineer at the address above. A non-refundable charge of $100 per set will be required for hard copies of the Contract Documents, Drawings, and Specifications. The scheduled job walk will be held on: March 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Meeting location: Project site approximately 0.20 miles west of Jefferson Blvd (SR 84) on Linden Road where the canal crosses under Linden Road. All labor on the project shall be paid in accordance with Federal and State prevailing wage requirements including the Davis-Bacon Act and applicable California Labor Code provisions.
