WHITTIER UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE INVITINGREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSNO. 2627-104Frozen, Refrigerated, Dry Foods, Bread and CommoditiesNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Whittier Union High School District, acting by and through its Board of Trustees , hereinafter called the " Distric t " will receive up to, but no later than the below -stated date and time , sealed Request for Proposals for the procurement of products generally described. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope to the Whittier Union High School District, Purchasing Department, Attn.: Eileen Chavez, Purchasing Supervisor, 9401 So. Painter Ave., Whittier, CA 90605, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. All bids packages shall be marked “RFP No. 2627-104 – Frozen, Refrigerated, Dry Foods, Bread and Commodities on the outside of the envelope, DUE no later than 2:00 PM on May 6, 2026 The Whittier Union High School District is not responsible for proposals sent via U.S. Mail, common carrier, or any other delivery service. Proposals will be opened at the same date and time. Proposals received later than the designated time and specified date will be returned unopened. Original documents shall be submitted; no email, fax, or phone proposals will be accepted. The Whittier Union High School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to be the sole judge of suitability of proposals, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the bidding. Companies interested in proposing should request appropriate documents from Eileen M. Chavez at the address listed above, email at Eileen.Chavez@wuhsd.org, or posted online to view or download at www.wuhsd.org Purchasing Department by selecting “Request for Proposals”. For assistance accessing documents contact Eileen Chavez (562) 698-8121 x1102. The Whittier Union High School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Refer to the formal bid documents and specifications for additional information, terms, and conditions. The bidder is advised that all inquiries and clarifications about the Request for Proposal shall be submitted to the District in writing at least ten (10) days before the bid opening date. The District will respond at its earliest possible opportunity. Verbal communication by either party with regards to this matter is invalid.
