CITY OF UNION CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for three highly qualified tow service providers to provide police requested tows ("Project") will be received at the front desk of the Union City Police Department, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, California, until 5:00 PM PST, Thursday, March 19, 2026. The agreement reached between the City and the three service providers will have specific requirements that ensure quality service when requested. The guidelines will also ensure timely service so that police staff are not unnecessarily delayed in returning to assigned duties. The Request for Proposal ("RFP") may be found on the Union City Website at https://www.unioncityca.gov/Bids.aspx. Each successful tow service provider will execute a contract with the City that has terms identical to the Non-Exclusive Franchise Agreement for Tow Services found in Exhibit A to the RFP.
