Bids for plumbing upgrades due by March 2, 2026.

NOTICE INVITING FORMAL BIDS Notice is hereby given that the Governing Board of the Alhambra Unified School District will receive bids submitted electronically up to, but no later than 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 2, 2026, for the following project: Bid #133025/26 CalSHAPE Plumbing Fixture Upgrades, (17) Sites Bids shall be submitted electronically only on the forms provided by the District and emailed to bids@ausd.us. Hard copy bids will not be accepted. Any bids received after the time specified shall be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered. Bids received electronically will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1515 W. Mission Rd., Alhambra, CA 91803, at the time specified above. A Mandatory PreBid Meeting will be conducted on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Alhambra Unified School District Maintenance Office, 1515 W. Mission Rd., Alhambra, CA 91803. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and possess a valid and active General Building (B) or C36 Plumbing license at the time of the bid and throughout the duration of the Contract. This Project is being let in accordance with the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (Public Contract Code �22000 et seq.). Contractors submitting bids must be on the District's current list of approved contractors pursuant to Public Contract Code �22034. As a condition of bidding, prospective bidders are required to complete and submit prequalification documents pursuant to Public Contract Code �20111.5. A contractor that has not been prequalified will be deemed nonresponsive. Bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid is required. Payment and Performance Bonds (100%) will be required of the successful bidder. This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements.
