NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Showcase Theater at Marin Center located at 20 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael, CA, the Marin County Board of Supervisors will at its regular meeting consider adopting by reference the 2025 California Building Standards Code, Title 24, California Code of Regulations and amendments to portions of Title 19 (Marin County Building Code) of the Marin County Code, as described in the proposed title of such ordinance listed above. In summary, the proposed ordinance adopts the California Building Code, but with certain amendments to account for local climatic, geological, and/or topographical conditions, as further specified in the proposed ordinance.
A copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinance, and the codes being considered for adoption by reference, are available for public review and copying in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors (Room 329 – Administration Building) Civic Center, San Rafael, California.
