STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION BUSINESS SERVICES OFFICE CONTRACTS UNIT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT TITLE: AMEX Timber Sale LOCATION: Jackson Demonstration State Forest, 802 North Main Street, Fort Bragg, CA 95437 Jackson Demonstration State Forest (JDSF) is soliciting bids for a timber sale (AMEX Timber Sale) located in Sections 5,6 & 7 Township 17 North, Range 15 West, MDB&M. JDSF is located in Northern California's coastal redwood region between Fort Bragg and Willits. Purchase and harvest about 1,750 million board feet of standing conifer timber from JDSF near Fort Bragg, Mendocino County. A bid will be required for conifers per thousand board feet. The minimum bid for redwood is $20.00 per thousand board feet and $10.00 for Douglas-fir, Grand fir and other whitewoods. This is a revenue contract.
