NOTICE CALLING FOR BIDS for Fullerton Joint Union High School DistrictBid#: 2 526-04 , Project Location: Sonora High School ,Project Title: Sonora High School – Campus Wide Exterior Painting Notice is hereby given that the governing board (“Board”) of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District (“District”) has determined that the following contractors and subcontractors must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid or proposal on the “ Sonora High School – Campus Wide Exterior Painting ” project (“Project”): All Prime contractors and subcontractors holding the following licenses must be prequalified with the District regardless of the value of the contract: B or C-33 These contractors and subcontractors must submit an original fully completed and sealed Prequalification Questionnaire to the District at the time/date/location indicated here: Facilities and Construction, Fullerton Joint Union High School District, 1027 S Leslie St, La Habra, CA 90631, Time: March 2, 202 6 1 :00PM Sealed Bids from prequalified bidders will be received at the time/date/location indicated here, at or after which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud (“Bid Submission Deadline”): Facilities and Construction Department, Fullerton Joint Union High School District, 1027 S Leslie St, La Habra, CA 90631, Time: March 1 7 , 2026 1:00PM All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Project Documents, including, but not limited to, the Information for Bidders. Engineer’s Estimate: $ 25 0,000.00 As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form either (1) a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, (2) cash, or (3) a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within the time frame required in the Project Documents, enter into the contract to perform the Project.The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100 % Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract to perform the Project.This is a public works project.
