Notice is hereby given that the North Orange County Community College District will receive sealed bids for the following project: Bid #2526-11, Parking Lot 8 Replacement at Cypress College. Bid Document / Specifications is available for view & download at the following link: https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/55147/portal-home Job Walk: February 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.Prospective bidders shall meet at Cypress College, Parking Lot 1 Flag Pole located at 9200 Valley View St, Cypress, CA 90630. Pre-Bid Clarification Due: March 13, 2026 before 5:00p.m. Bidders must submit Pre-Bid inquiries or clarification requests through the PlanetBids portal. Bids Due: March 23, 2026 before 2:00 p.m. All bids shall be submitted electronically using the PlanetBids Vendor Portal located on the District Website (https://vendors.planetbids.com/portal/55147/portal-home). All contractors and vendors will need to register as a vendor online prior to submitting a bid. Bids submitted shall include forms furnished by the District prior to the bid closing date and time. Contractor bidding on this project and Subcontractors performing any portion of the Work must register with the California Department of Industrial Relations (“DIR”) and comply with the requirements of Labor Code §1725.5. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, on the form furnished with the bid documents, a list of the designated subcontractors as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act, California Public Contract Code §4100 et seq. Prevailing Wage: The Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code §1771 requiring payment of general prevailing rates. Bid Security Required: 10% of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal in the form of Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified or Cashier’s Check. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required, and all bonds must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure §995.120. License Requirements: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor’s license at the time of submission of the Bid: License A, General Engineering Contractor.
