CITY OF WILDOMARPUBLIC NOTICEORDINANCE ADOPTION(S)NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wildomar City Council, at a regular meeting on February 10, 2026, adopted the following Ordinance(s): SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 259ORDINANCE OF THE WILDOMAR CITY COUNCIL AMENDING SECTION 1.04.120, VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF TITLE 5 (BUSINESS LICENSES AND REGULATIONS), AND OTHER TITLES OF THE WILDOMAR MUNICIPAL CODE TO UPDATE THE CITY’S BUSINESS REGISTRATION AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND CONFORM ASSOCIATED REFERENCES Ordinance No. 259 amends various parts of Title 5 of the Wildomar Municipal Code relating to Business regulations, to update the City's business and regulatory framework, as follows: (1) Amend the definition of "Business License" under Section 1.04.120 to mean business registration; (2) Rename Title 5 to "Business Regulations"; (3) Amend Chapter 5.68. of Title 5 to allow for business registration only under a Business Registration Program, rather than requiring both licensing and registration, and exempt vendors or other persons conducting a temporary business activity as part of an approved Temporary Event or Temporary Use Permit; (4) Establish appropriate Title 5 references to the City of Wildomar and associated City departments, divisions, and resources; and (5) Globally replace references to "Business License" with "Business Registration" within the Wildomar Municipal Code.
