City invites bids for new park construction at Linden and Pine Avenue.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS The CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO invites sealed written proposals for the NEW PARK AT LINDEN AND PINE AVENUE ("Project"), located 616 and 700 Linden Avenue, South San Francisco, California (the "Site"). The Project generally consists of the following: project includes demolition of the existing 0.32-acre parking lot at 700, vacant lot at 616 Linden Avenue and an approximately 100-foot section of Pine Avenue, and the construction of a new neighborhood park. The new park will contain a plaza/outdoor event space, lawns, picnic areas, play structures, a fitness and games area, stub ups for a potential restroom, new parking areas, new one way lane, new lighting and landscaping as shown on the plans. The estimated construction value is $3,450,000. SUBMITTAL OF BID All bid proposals must be filed on or before 2:00 p.m. Pacific, March 11, 2026 electronically via the City of South San Francisco procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ssf/projects/229596. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened, and results published via portal following bid deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check, cashier's check, or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total base bid. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE REQUIREMENTS This project can be bid by a contractor possessing, at the time of bid submittal, a valid Class A California Contractor's License ("License").
