NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE CITY COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that the City Clerk of the City of Saratoga State of California has set WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 2026, AT OR NEAR 7:00 P.M., in the City Council Chambers at 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, California, as the set time and place for a public hearing on: APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION TO APPROVE A TENTATIVE MAP APPLICATION TO SUBDIVIDE AN EXISTING 100,972 SQUARE FOOT PARCEL LOCATED AT 13785 SARATOGA AVENUE INTO THREE PARCELS. SARATOGA CREEK DIVIDES THE SITE WITH THE FRONT PORTION FRONTING SARATOGA AVENUE WITH R-1-20,000 ZONING AND RLD GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATIONS; THE PORTION OF THE SITE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE CREEK HAS R-1-10,000 ZONING AND M-10 GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATIONS. PARCEL ONE WOULD BE 47,960 NET SQUARE FEET AND WOULD MAINTAIN THE EXISTING SITE FRONTAGE ON SARATOGA AVENUE. PARCELS TWO AND THREE, 12,327 AND 13,939 NET SQUARE FEET, RESPECTIVELY, WOULD BE LOCATED BEHIND PARCEL ONE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE CREEK AND WOULD HAVE ACCESS FROM HERITAGE CREEK COURT VIA A BRIDGE SPANNING SARATOGA CREEK. NINE PROTECTED TREES ARE PROPOSED FOR REMOVAL.
