ORDINANCE NO. 1742 SUMMARY OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF SUTTER AMENDING THE SUTTER COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTERS 600 AND 610 RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION AND REGULATION; AND OVERHEAD STORAGE OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS (A certified copy of the Ordinance is posted in the office of the Clerk of the Board located at 1160 Civic Center Boulevard, Suite A, Yuba City, California) SUMMARY The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Chapters 600 and 610 of the Sutter County Ordinance Code to adopt and modify the 2025 California Fire Code, including Appendix Chapter 4 and Appendix A, B, BB, C, CC, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, & P and to regulate the servicing of overhead tanks used for the storage of flammable liquids to protect the public health and safety.
