CITY OF ALAMEDA PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING FY 2026-27 CDBG ACTION PLAN The City of Alameda (City) is an Entitlement City in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. On May 5, 2026, the City Council will review the proposed FY 2026-27 Action Plan. The FY 2026-27 Annual Action Plan sets forth the City's plan for addressing the City of Alameda Priority Needs including the use of HUD's CDBG and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds. Specific goals for the upcoming year will be addressed in the Action Plan that will cover the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The proposed FY 2026-27 Action Plan will allocate approximately $1 million in CDBG Entitlement Funds plus an estimated $60,000 in CDBG Program Income and $180,000 of HOME funds. AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW Beginning April 3, 2026, the FY 2026-27 Action Plan, including funding details, may be accessed on the City of Alameda's website at https://www.alamedaca.gov/Departments/Housing-and-Human-Services.
