L E G A L N O T I C E NOTICE INVITING ELECTRONIC BID PROPOSALS FOR THE CITY OF ANAHEIMDEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that electronic bid proposals will be received by the City of Anaheim up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. on the 7th day of May, 2026, and will be opened and read on said date and hour, in public, at the City of Anaheim Office of the City Clerk, located at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California, by the City Clerk, for the following work: Project Title:Underground District No. 71 Olive/VermontAccount Nos.:528-521-6753-7865-2600556-01, 525-521-6771-7865- 2200676-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2200677-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2600316-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2600317-01 , 525-521-6771-7865-2600318-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2600319-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2600320-01, 525-521-6771-7865-2600322-01, 528-521-6767-7865-2600557-02, 528-521-6768-7865- 2602305-04, 528-521-6768-7865-2602305-05 The electronic bid proposals shall be tabulated by the Anaheim City Engineer and the results thereof reported to the City Council for consideration at a meeting to be held no later than 45 days after the bid opening.It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under them, to pay not less than the higher of the two rates contained in the current general prevailing wage rate(s) and per diem rate(s), established by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, (as set forth in the Labor Code of the State of California, commencing at Section 1770 et seq.), or by the Secretary of Labor (as set forth in Davis-Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. 267a, et seq.). Said prevailing rates of wages are available on the following websites: https://www.dir.ca.gov/public-works/prevailing-wage.html or https://sam.gov/content/wage-determinations Each bid shall be electronically submitted on a form which can be obtained via download from the City’s on-line bidding software “OPENGOV”. Contractors must register on the website in order to download the bid documents. The original Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check for 10% of the amount of the Bid made payable to the City of Anaheim, shall be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the Bid Due Date and Time noted above or as revised via addendum to the project documents. The electronic version of the bid documents (including plans and specifications) are available for download from “OPENGOV” by visiting: https://anaheim.net/6619/OpenGov-Procurements No refunds will be made for returned plans and specifications and the City of Anaheim is not responsible for the completeness of the project documents from other sources.The successful bidder(s) shall be required to enter into a contract with the City of Anaheim, in a form approved by the Anaheim City Attorney.The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality to the extent permitted by law and reserves the further right to make an award to the lowest responsible bidder found and determined to serve the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
