CITY OF BALDWIN PARK NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY 2026/27 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT The City of Baldwin Park is currently accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Fiscal Year 2026/27. The City is seeking proposals from organizations that have demonstrated professional experience in delivering public service activities. For the upcoming fiscal year, the City anticipates receiving approximately $850,026 in CDBG funding. Of this total, 15%, or approximately $127,504, will be allocated for public service grants. Eligible activities under the CDBG program include a variety of community development efforts such as housing assistance, public improvements, public facilities , and public services. Some examples of eligible public services include childcare, job training and education, recreation, senior services, crime awareness, general welfare, and health or drug abuse prevention. To ensure the program serves the community's most vulnerable residents, at least 51% of the beneficiaries of any public service program or project must be from the lowtomoderateincome category.
