NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the City Council of Murrieta at City Hall, 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562 on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at 4:00 P.M., to consider the following matter:Adoption of a Resolution Entitled: A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Murrieta, California, Approving New Fees and Proposed Adjustments to Town Square Park & Amphitheater Special Event Rates, Charges and Fees The proposed fees will amend the City’s adopted User Fee Schedule and are designed to recover the reasonable estimated costs of renting various facilities and equipment in connection with the use of the City’s Town Square Park. Pursuant to Government Code Section 66016, the City has made available a report of the estimated costs of providing the services covered by the proposed fees. This report along with the schedule of fees is available for public review at least ten (10) days before this hearing, in compliance with applicable law, by contacting Laura Frasso, Special Events Supervisor, at 951-461-6110 or at the address above during normal business hours. Ms. Frasso is available to answer any questions regarding this matter. At any time, no later than the conclusion of the public hearing, any interested person may either submit written comments to the City Clerk’s Office or may appear and be heard in support of, or opposition to, the matter before City Council at the time of the meeting. At the public hearing the City Council will consider all oral and written statements made or filed by any interested person at or before the conclusion of said hearing. If you wish to challenge the update of the fee schedule in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Murrieta City Clerk at 1 Town Square, Murrieta, CA 92562 and by email at CityClerk@MurrietaCA.gov [CityClerk@MurrietaCA.gov]. It is the intention of the City to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects. Upon request, this notice and agenda report will be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with disabilities.
