City of Oroville Public Notice Public Notice to All Property Owners in the Oroville City Limits to Remove Grass, Weeds or Plants, Rubbish and Rubble Prior to June 15th of Each Year. All property owners of land in the City limits of Oroville, CA are hereby notified to remove or destroy all grass, weeds or plants or rubbish and rubble thereon prior to June 15, 2026, in accordance with the City of Oroville Municipal Code, Section 11-19. Administrative Citations will be issued pursuant to City Ordinance Nos. 1717 and 1719 for violations thereof against all property owners failing to comply with this notice. Residential property owners within the City limits shall remove all grass, weeds, rubbish and rubble pursuant to 14-22.401 of the City of Oroville Nuisance Ordinance. Failure to comply may result in administrative fines and penalties. California Health and Safety Code Section 13008, of the California Code of Regulations are provided below. 13008. Any person who allows any fire burning upon his property to escape to the property of another, whether privately or publicly owned, without exercising due diligence to control such fire, is liable to the owner of such property for the damages to the property caused by the fire. Any parcel required to comply with this ordinance that fails to comply may also be declared a "Nuisance" and/or "Fire Hazard" in accordance with the City of Oroville Municipal Code and/or the California Code of Regulations.
