SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UKIAH ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 9 TO DIVISION 2 OF THE CITY CODE TO REGULATE SIDEWALK VENDING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY AND IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY. This Ordinance will establish permit requirements and operational standards for sidewalk vendors in the public right of way and will implement enforcement measures and penalties for violations of these requirements and standards. The Ordinance was introduced by title only on March 4, 2026, and included additional modifications that are detailed in the March 4, 2026, minutes. The following were the roll call votes: AYES: Councilmembers Crane, Rodin, Criss, Orozco, and Mayor Sher. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
