PALOS VERDES PENINSULA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTPUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION FOR THE UPCOMING ASPHALT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT THE FOLLOWING SCHOOL SITES: DAPPLEGRAY ELEMENTARY, MIRA CATALINA ELEMENTARY, VISTA GRANDE ELEMENTARY AND PALOS VERDES INTERMEDIATE The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (PVPUSD) invites all interested and licensed contractors to submit for inclusion on the District’s Prequalified Contractor List for the upcoming Asphalt Improvements Project at the following school sites: Dapplegray Elementary, Mira Catalina Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary and Palos Verdes Intermediate with an estimated value exceeding $1,000,000.00. Qualified contractors must hold a valid Class C-12 license. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To be considered for pre-qualification, contractors must: * Hold a current, active license verified through the California Contractors State License Board. * Register online by completing the AB 2031 prequalification questionnaire through PQBids at: https://pqbids.com/palos-verdes-peninsula-usd/ Submissions must be completed and in fully approved status no later than the close of business on March 19, 2026. Contractors are responsible for ensuring their approval through PQBids is finalized before the deadline and should allow ample time for the prequalification process to be completed. * Ensure that any listed subcontractors performing work under the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46, are also prequalified and in fully approved status no later than the close of business day on March 19, 2026, through PQBids. * Pursuant to SB 854, all contractors and subcontractors who wish to bid or perform work on public works projects are required to register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
