PUBLIC NOTICE The THP area is located approximately 2.5 air miles south of Elk River, CA. The legal description is Township 3 North, Range 1 West, Section 3 and Township 4 North, Range 1 West, Sections 27 and 34 Humboldt Base & Meridian, Humboldt County. The THP is located on the Fields Landing USGS Quadrangle. The THP includes Clapp Gulch in the north and unnamed tributaries to Salmon Creek in the south.
