PUBLIC NOTICE:Torrance Unified School District is Now Accepting Applications for the Position of School Board Member - Trustee Area B Due to the resignation of School Board Member, Mrs. Jasmine Park, effective February 18, 2026, the Board of Education is now accepting applications to temporarily fill the vacant seat, in Trustee Area B, by provisional appointment. The selected appointee will serve until December 14, 2026. A consolidated special election will take place on November 3, 2026 to fill the seat for the remainder of the unexpired term (until 2028). To apply, interested candidates must print and complete an application for the provisional appointment, which can be found at tusd.org/boe/apply, and submit the signed application in person to the Superintendent’s Office at 2335 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance 90501, or via email to morse.shelley@tusd.org, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026. If you are interested in learning more about serving as a School Board Member, you are invited to attend one of the upcoming Public Information Zoom meetings where you can speak with 1-2 current Board Members.
