TO: Michael Moldenhauer. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on or about January 4, 2026, Petitioners, Jessica and Todd Morgan, filed a Petition for Stepparent Adoption in the County Court of Douglas County, Nebraska for the adoption of Amelia Lane Moldenhauer (born 2011) and Juliet Ann Moldenhauer (born 2015). As the biological father, you have certain accompanying legal rights. You may choose to object to the adoption proceeding, consent to and participate in the adoption proceeding, or waive any further rights to the children, including the right to participate in the adoption proceeding. If you are planning to object to the adoption proceeding before the County Court of Douglas County, Nebraska and seek custody of the minor children yourself, please seek legal counsel from your own attorney immediately. Please be advised that if you do not relinquish the children for adoption, you have a right to seek custody and/or parenting time as well as possess an ongoing duty to financially contribute to the support and education of the children. If you choose to relinquish the children for adoption, you shall be provided independent legal counsel of your choice, at the expense of the adoptive parent, prior to executing your written relinquishment and consent to adoption, unless specifically waived in writing.
