NOTICE OF HEARING ON RESOLUTION TO INCREASE MONTHLY WATER RATES AND MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGES FOR VENTURA COUNTY WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. 19, EFFECTIVE CALENDAR YEAR 2026 On March 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, County Administration Building, 800 South Victoria Avenue, Ventura, California 93009, the Board of Waterworks District No. 19 [Somis] will conduct a public hearing regarding a proposed resolution to (i) increase the water rates, and the water monthly service charges effective calendar year 2026, (ii) provide for the District Director or designee to record liens for delinquent charges and all penalties thereon under Government Code section 54355, and (iii) authorize the collection of any delinquent charges on the tax roll pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 5473a. At that time and place, any person interested may appear and be heard as to whether the proposed rates and charges are discriminatory or excessive. A copy of the proposed resolution may be obtained by request to wsadmin@venturacounty.gov The proposed tiered water rates per one hundred cubic feet (748 gallons) are Tier 1, $3.04; Tier 2, $3.70; and Tier 3, $4.89. The proposed commodity rates per one hundred cubic feet are agricultural, $3.92; commercial, $4.18; industrial, $6.93; institutional, $4.52; multi-family, $4.21; lift charges, $0.30; and temporary construction, $7.21. The proposed monthly service charge depends on the meter size as follows: 3/4-inch, $26.12; 1-inch, $39.98; 1 1/2-inch, $74.58; 2-inch, $116.11; 3-inch, $247.64; 4-inch, $441.46; and 6-inch, $905.24. The proposed monthly fire line service charge depends on meter size as follows: 2-inch, $12.14; 3-inch, $25.04; 4-inch, $47.31; 6-inch, $127.24; and 8-inch, $265.08. DR.
