NOTICE OF ORDINANCE INTRODUCTION ORDINANCE NO. 2038 ADDING CHAPTER 10.55 TO THE CAMARILLO MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING MOBILE HOME PARK RENT STABILIZATION SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 2038 would add Chapter 10.55 sets limits on annual mobilehome rent increases, allows an eight percent increase when an existing mobilehome is re rented to a new tenant, and permits market rate rents when a new mobilehome is brought into a space. It also creates a family member exemption for re rental increases and establishes a one time process to set each park’s initial anniversary date for rent adjustments. Ordinance No. 2038 was introduced by the Camarillo City Council at its meeting held April 22, 2026. Second reading and adoption of the Ordinance is scheduled for May 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers located at 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo, California.
