CITY OF LAGUNA HILLSPUBLIC NOTICEORDINANCE SUMMARY Notice is hereby given that on April 14, 2026, the City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, introduced an Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 11-12.110 TO CHAPTER 11-12 (STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING) OF TITLE 11 (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC) OF THE LAGUNA HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING PARALLEL PARKING LINES The Ordinance adds Section 11-12.110 (Parallel Parking Lines) to Chapter 11-12 (Stopping, Standing and Parking) of Title 11 (Vehicles and Traffic) to the Laguna Hills Municipal Code to delegate authority to the City Engineer to establish, designate and mark parallel parking spaces with white lines on any public street where parallel parking is required by the California Vehicle Code when the City Engineer determines that such lines would facilitate the parking of vehicles or alleviate a hazardous condition. The Ordinance would prohibit the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles outside of delineated parallel parking space lines. The Ordinance would also authorize the City Engineer to remove white parallel parking space lines when a traffic engineering investigation finds that the condition because of which they were placed no longer exist. A certified copy of the complete text of the Ordinance is posted and may be read in the City Clerk’s office, 24035 El Toro Road, Laguna Hills, and/or a copy may be obtained from the Office at a nominal charge.
