CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH NOTICE OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 28, 2026, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, adopted the Ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE NO. 2026-3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SUBSECTION 12.68.060(B) (PREFERENTIAL PARKING ZONES— LOCATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS) OF CHAPTER 12.68 (RESIDENTS' PREFERENTIAL PARKING) OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING THE RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT PROGRAM FOR NEWPORT HEIGHTS AND CLIFF HAVEN The ordinance updates the Newport Beach Municipal Code to change the preferential parking restriction zone on Snug Harbor Road from two hours to one hour and includes adding residential properties at 629 Saint James Road and 633 Saint James Road to the zone. Ordinance No. 2026-3 was approved by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Barto, Blom, Grant, Kleiman, Stapleton, Weber and Weigand NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: None RECUSED: COUNCILMEMBERS: None The ordinance will become effective 30 days after adoption date.
