SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 7-26 On April 14, 2026, the Oakley City Council waived the first reading and introduced Ordinance No. 7-26, to create Zone 202 within the Oakley Special Police Tax Area consisting of the Delta Pointe Plaza project located north of Newman Way and Journey Way (APN 037-160-047-9). The Conditions of approval for this project require the Developer to mitigate its financial impact their project has on the Citys police services budget. The City of Oakley previously formed the Oakley Special Police Tax Area that authorizes the levy of an annual special tax. The purpose of the Ordinance is to authorize the levy of a special tax on real property that is within Oakley Special Police Tax Area Zone 202. A complete reading of this ordinance may be required to fully understand all its provisions. A copy of the entire ordinance is available at the City Clerks office located at 3231 Main Street, Oakley, California 94561.
