PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSEDADJUSTMENTS TO THE FEE SCHEDULE FORSERVICES OF THE PENN VALLEY FIREPROTECTION DISTRICT The Board of Directors of the Penn Valley Fire Protection District, County of Nevada, State of California, is proposing the repeal of Ordinance 2023-01 with the intention of replacing it with Ordinance 2026-01. The Board will hear a proposal to add fees for treatment without transport of patients and first response to medical incidents outside the district.The Public hearings will be held during the regular board meeting. The first reading of the proposed changes will be held May 5, 2026; and the second reading is scheduled for June 2, 2026. Thirty days after Board approval, the new ordinance becomes effective on Jul 2, 2026. Questions or comments may be made in person during either of the meetings. The meeting’s location is 10513 Spenceville Rd, Penn Valley CA 95946. Written comments must be received 1 week prior to the meetings to be read into public comment at the above address.Published: April 18, 2026
