PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCEValley-Wide Recreation and Park DistrictOrdinance no. 2026-2 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 20, 2026, the Board of Directors of the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District introduced Ordinance No. 2026-2, entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF VALLEY-WIDE RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF SPECIAL TAXES IN A COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT If adopted, this ordinance will authorize the levy of a special tax within the Winchester Community Facilities District Zone 32 (Summit Ridge) (the “District”), at the rate and in accordance with the Rate and Method of Apportionment of Special Tax set forth in the Resolution of Formation approved by the Board of Directors on April 20, 2026, by Resolution No. 1455-26. The Special Tax levy would commence in fiscal year 2026/27 and each fiscal year thereafter to pay for the costs of services and administering the District. The Special Tax shall be collected in the same manner as ordinary ad valorem taxes are collected and shall have the same lien priority, and be subject to the same penalties and the same procedure and sale in cases of delinquency as provided for ad valorem taxes.
