PUBLISHED NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND JUDICIAL FORFEITURE On JANUARY 15, 2026 at NB/I5 NORTH OF LAKEHEAD, LAKEHEAD, CA, officers of the SINTF seized property for forfeiture in connection with controlled substance violations, to wit: SALE OR TRANSPORTATION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSANCE, sections(s) 11379 and RECIEV/ETC/CONCEAL/ETC VALUABLES FROM CNTL SUBS PROCEEDS 90z, section(s) 11370 of the California Health and Safety Code. The seized property is described as follows: ITEM NO. DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY 1. $52,000.00 UNITED STATES CURRENCY Pursuant to Section 11488.4(e) of the California Health and Safety Code, procedures to judicially forfeit the property listed above are under way. Control No. SCSO26-000233 has been assigned to this case. In corresponding with the District Attorney's Office, please use this control number and the relevant specific item number set forth above to identify each item of property in which you claim an interest. If you claim an interest in any or all of the property listed above, you must, within thirty (30) days of the LAST date of publication of this notice, file a verified Claim Opposing Forfeiture (CA Judicial Counsel Form MC-200) to this effect with the Clerk of the Shasta County Superior Court, 1500 Court Street, Room 201, Redding, California, 96001. In this claim, you must state: (1) your specific interest in each particular item of seized property, referencing the particular items by the appropriate item number set forth above; and (2) the basis or origin of each such specific interest in each particular item of property. Within thirty (30) days of its filing with the Clerk, you must also then mail or deliver a verified copy of your filed Claim Opposing Forfeiture to the Shasta County District Attorney's Office, 1355 West Street, Redding, CA 96001. Any interested party filing a Claim Opposing Forfeiture under these rules has the right for their claim to be heard and fully litigated at a hearing pursuant to the Health & Safety Code and other relevant state and federal laws. If your claim is not timely filed or served, the District Attorney's Office will request default forfeiture of the property listed above to the State of California.
